I think I know why it's called "EverNote"
It's called EverNote because I think all my notes are stuck in it forever !!
All joking aside, does anyone know how to do an export-import from Evernote to UltraRecall? Evernote only exports to xml and none of the fields populate in the UltraRecall import utility. It just comes up blank and won't let me go any further. I have about 1200 notes, scans, text, web pages, old emails, etc, that are all now stuck in this software. I wanted to put everything in UR as it is far superior, but now I'm hitting myself for putting everything there. I had actually moved everything from InfoSelect (which I've used for about 8 years) about a year ago. Even though it was a bit tedious at least it exported everything to a CSV file which you could work with and maniplulate. Any help from others that were able to do this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Paul O'S |

EverNote
All set,
I just spent a few hours with the old standby Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V. It was well worth it. I won't fall in to that trap again with my data. It also gave me time to clean up a lot of old notes that needed deleting. It is amazing the stuff we save now because "we can". Months or years later when you look at some of your old notes, you can't figure out why you would have saved them in the first place. Thanks for reading paul o's |
