maybe make UR extensible?

Is that the right word - extensible? - where third part developers can create add-ons for the UR community.

Think about what that did for Firefox and what it does for programs that use VBA.

I don't know anything about what it takes to make it so people can create add-ins or plug-ins. But I'm thinking there's probably an upside (as well as the obvious downsides that perhaps could be controlled?).

Just a thought.
