dragging from import to journal

I imported rtf journal files from another program (ADM). Then I tried to drag/drop from import/january to journal/january. UR copied the entire import list & dropped it in as a journal/january/child. ?? I fixed this but I don't understand what I d did wrong.

I'm not quite following that. Can you ZIP and post or send sample .urd files showing the 'before' and 'after' and exactly what you did in between? Thanks.

I can't cuz I've dumped all the extraneous stuff but I have more to import from ADM so I'll try to replicate then.
