Good point!
ContentSaver, a good web-collect and content management solution has Find... Duplicates (with Equal Address and Size) and Find... Duplicates (with Equal Address and Title). This helps avoid storing duplicate documents mainly in a huge database. I jumped from CS in favor of UR. This search feature would be a good addition to UR though . Leoram |

Currently there isn't a way to detect or prevent duplicate Info Items in Ultra Recall.
One of the issues is defining what exactly is a "duplicate"... The same title, a similar title, similiar or identical text, the same template type, or some combination of the above or some other criteria? |

Address meaning Url, I presume? I hadn't seen your post when I posted my question.
Defining duplicates as matching Title and Url, or matching Url and document size (for stored Info Items) provides a couple of ways to determine duplicates for document type Info Items but might not be sufficient for text or other non-document Info Items that do not have a populated Url attribute. Do you have suggestions on detecting these types of duplicates as well, or is this not an issue? We will put your suggestions on the feature request list for a future version of Ultra Recall. |

Thanks for putting this as a feature request.
Suggestion: --------------- Adding a new System Item Attribute "Word Count" (I'll add this on a wish list) for items which amount of words could be counted would help. That way text Info Items with same word count would be listed in that particular search. Leoram |
