UR and mouse gestures
Hi:
I started to think that it might be out of the question to resquest the addition of mouse gestures to UR as other modern programs have already integrated. The reason is that such addition could deviate (in my way of thinking) or unnecessarily overload for the moment the developers of UR who might be pretty busy with the new features already requested. Anyway, mouse gestures is undoubtedly a good idea. I'm a user of StrokeIt http://www.tcbmi.com/strokeit/ for some time and I recently added UltraRecall to the list of programs it can handle. StrokeIt is a free stable and powerful utility that is used for adding mouse gesture capability to almost any software. The amazing thing about it is that it consumes very little RAM (260Kb in my case). I started to experiment with UR and I can easily move within UR and accomplish tasks with slight mouse movements. StrokeIt visibly draws the gestures on screen and "learns" your way. For example, with it I can now accomplish a task I recently requested on this forum, see: http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...light=collapse see also: http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...light=COLLAPSE I'm sure many things can be done in UR with this little program. I'd like to hear the opinion of those who already use StrokeIt and learn new ideas from some other forumners. Thanks. Leoram Last edited by Leoram; 10-21-2005 at 10:45 AM. |

Thanks for the tip about StrokeIt. It's great for navigating within UR and other programs. I've set it up to move items to a favourite folder, navigate back and forward, collapse the tree, go to certain favourites.
