open in a new tab - not

It appears to me that under the following circumstances, opening in a new tab does not occur:

In tab 1, user has an item w several sub-items
The list of sib-items is the result of an automated search
Each of the sub-items (children) are -- themselves -- automated searches

User opens automated search in tab 1
user right clicks on child & selects open in new tab
This does not happen
Instead tab 1 is changed from search 1 to search 2

Yes, I'm seeing that too. For now, you'll need to open a new tab first (Ctrl+T) before selecting a search item in the Related Items pane.

v3.2.6 bug - open in a new tab

user opens an 'automated' search in new tab view

within the list produced by the above search there is another search

Bug: user is unable to open the 2nd search in a new tab even tho context option is available
