Is there a way to assign keyboard shortcuts to text styles?
When working with long and structured text, I always have to format it using headers, code, plain text, etc. Today, I have to perform 3 keyboard hits (ctrl+shift+y), type or point to select correct style (I have 10), then hit enter.
Is there a way to directly assign keyboard shortcuts to a given text style. The current way is taxing when done repetitively. Please consider improving it or allowing us to apply a text style using text markers e.g. h1/h2 or via keyboard. Thanks |

You can customize the initial shortcut (maybe use Alt+S).
If your style names are short (i.e., h1, h2), Alt+S, type h1, Enter. Or if they start with different letters (i.e., abc, def), you can do Alt+S, <type first letter of desired style name>, Down Arrow, Enter. That doesn't seem too much worse than remembering a different shortcut for each style. |
