Locking Items' Attributes

Hi

A while back, Kinook kindly provided a check box to lock Saved Searches/Search Folders - because, sometimes, with advanced searches, the logic created is quite complicated, and any accidental changes might be very bothersome to undo - thus a lock mechanism was created.

I would like to request the same for an Item's Properties/Attributes... as it is in fact quite easy to accidentally change an Attribute's value without noticing until later (especially now with the attributes in Forms), then it is difficult or maybe impossible to recover.

Therefore I would like to request a check box to lock/unlock the attributes for any/each Item - so that when locked, the values cannot be changed...

Anyone else interested in this?

I 2nd this request.

And I'd say it is easy to accidentally change the attribute(s) of many selected infoitems in a swift uncontrolled move.

IMO the attribute pane could be set to be read only (option enabled) unless one decides to make changes. In that case, an unlock box, similar to the one here suggested would be a must.
