Wise for Windows Installer 5.2

I hate to be a forum hog, but I'm going to ask this anyway.

We run Wise for Windows Installer (WFWI) v5.20.0.151.

When I run our MSI from inside the WFWI environment, I get a 9MB EXE that runs correctly.

When I run our MSI from inside the Visual Build Pro (from a Wise Setup Step), I get a 3MB EXE that is corrupt.

I used the VBP log option when running Wise. The output is pretty sparse-

Creating Single File EXE

I'm sure I'm overlooking something obvious, but I can't think of what it might be.

Can anyone pass me a clue?

Thanks!

The Wise action only outputs what the Wise command-line script compiler logs. A simple test here w/ WfWI 5.2 generated the same size MSI in the Wise IDE and the VBP Wise action. If you check the 'log command-line that is used' option on the last tab of the Wise action, you can see how VBP is calling the WfWI compiler. Compare that with the command-line flags Wise expects, and if it looks correct, you could submit a support incident with Wise to determine why it is not generating a valid MSI for your project.
