Updated to 3.2.6: AVs are back

Hi group,
After updating to this latest release i stared getting these AV consistently with below scenario.

- click on a saved search icon to show all my tasks that need attention.
- in the docked search results and i choose a task and updated. Task template has form associated with it.
- move this task to another tree node using alt+l
- click on saved search again to refresh results after the move and the AV happens.

I already sent you a avi file and detailed scenario description. Hope we can get a fix soon.

Thank you

Kinook,
I spend more time looking at this and I have these updates to make ...

- It is not specific to 326. I used 325 and it still happens.
- I think the issue happens in this sequence ...

- an attribute is updated on a form.
- UR does not save this update yet as shown by the save button still active
- moving the item and refreshing the search will cause the crash.

- to avoid it, save the item and make sure save button is grayed out then do the move.
- The problem is when you make the change and move without saving in between. UR should handle this internally, however.

Thank you

ok. I just tried again and i was able to reproduce it in a brand new db. Here's how...

1- make sure your 'save' button is visible on the toolbar so you can tell if item is saved or not.

2- create a text item is a child of some folder.

3- click on the parent so you can see this child in the children pane.

4- go to text item child (in the pane not tree).

5- in this text item, type anything in the edit area

6- notice that save button is now active.

7- go back to children pane, highlight the child and move it using alt+l

8- notice that save button is still active i.e. your edit has not been saved.

9- you should get AV error once you click the ok button on the move dialog.
