Begin Date v. Original Begin

What's the difference between <Begin Date> and <Original Begin>?

Original Begin is what the Begin Date was originally set to by the user. When a recurring reminder is dismissed, if the Original Begin date attribute doesn't exist, it is created and set to the Begin Date+Time, and the Begin Date is advanced based on the next recurrence.
