Print to PDF with embedded hyperlinks
Is it possible to print to a PDF and retain the embedded hyperlinks in the resulting PDF file? It seems that the only option is to keep the URL as a text string so that it can be linked in the PDF; however, that makes a text document somewhat unreadable!

I'm not aware of a PDF printer driver that can do that.

If I start with a WORD document which contains embedded links, I am able to retain those links within a PDF. At the moment, that seems to be my workaround -- I copy the UltraRecall text to a Word doc, and then create a PDF from the Word doc.

I use Nuance PDF Converter 5 Professional and it retains all links - or not, if you choose. User configurable.
Not sure what DLL they're using but if you need or want to know, Kinook, I'll dig around a little and find out. Let me know. Jim |
