unzip action enhancement
I was both impressed and annoyed by the unzip action.
It handled a zipfile with japanese characters. It munged a zipfile with european characters. It would be nice if it would handle both. Thanks, nathan |

Could you post/send the .ZIP file in question? Which language version of Windows are you running on? The third-party component we use for ZIP/unzip (DynaZIP Max) does not have a Unicode interface, but does claim support for DBCS character sets, so it may only be able to handle filenames in the language that Windows is configured to use for non-Unicode apps.

i figured a way around the problem.
If I create the zip files with the zip action, they extract fine. if i create them with winzip, they extract wrong. I'm running on English Windows XP pro to build all Euro languages. the japanese build is running on Japanese XP pro. |
