Normalized address info?

This is more speculation than suggestion.

Would it make sense to separate address info from contact info yet allow them relate to each other easily? What I'm thinking about is like having a Person table and a Location table and linking them by Many-to-Many. (Actual implementation is irrelevant, just trying to clarify my thoughts.)

Pros:

• multiple people listed under 1 location, and they move. Only change 1 location, all locations update
• multiple locations can be listed for 1 person. work, work2, home, mom's home

Cons:

• might be more complex than some ppl are used to (could have an option "check here for simple/one-to-one contact info")

You could create custom templates and forms to do this (and use either logical or internal linking to link locations to people).
