prevent loading item text

When I select with ctrl.+A the items in the child items window or search result window, all items are opned showing a window "loading item text"

I only want to select the items to set a flag or to copy/move/link them to another database or folder i want to avoid this time of opening.
Has any one an idea how to avoid this loading.

tools->options ->editor->"shor combined text for multiple selection"

PS:
it's a good idea to go through the whole options menu and trying to understand what each option means, it will save you a lot of time in the long run

And remember Tools|Quick Options - a method to quickly toggle some of the options from your usual UR options selection.

un-check 'Editor: Show combined text for multiple selection'

and while we're at it, remember that you can add keyboard shortcut to any command, and thus also to those in "tools->quick option" (which were created to provide a fast way to change UR settings)
