Does the Outlook import include attachments?

Hi,

I see that the import process in VR Pro, shows the short filename version of the attachment name.

Does VR actually fill up, with the physical attachments? I'd prefer to just import the emails, and leave the attachments in Outlook.

If attachments are imported along with the email, is it possible to shut that off, so that only the textual content gets imported?

Whoever designed the GTD sample - thank you.

When storing a message, the entire contents (including any attachments) are stored, and it's not possible to store the message without its attachments.

Another option would be to link to the original message rather than storing in UR. The message content will still be searchable and displayed in UR.

And it's not possible to delete the attachment, after the import?

Ok thanks, I'll look at the alternatives you listed.

No, the attachments are part of the message that is stored and can't be removed separately.
