HTML export locks up while generating
Hi,
For every UR pro database I've tried so far, it stops while generating Documents and item rich text to HTML. It always stops, and looks like it's continuing to process, with the popup box Export Items search Cancel Help If you just leave it alone, eventually it crashes, and shuts down. For example, I tried with the sample Web urd, because it was a relatively small file. Is there some log I can send, to demonstrate this? |

Another funny quirk, about the Exporting Items Popup box,
when you click on Help (to the right of Cancel), it shows the Help for Importing Documents, rather than Export. |

There seems to be a problem with exporting of the Search template item (it recursively exports itself, probably because exporting a search exports all search results, but for some reason this includes itself). Instead of exporting the root My Data item, select and export child node(s) of My Data (excluding Templates).
The same dialog is used for the progress dialog when importing and exporting. |

That works, thanks.

Looks good.
Is there any way to change the background of the Tree pane, from within Ultra Recall? I can just create a reference to some css inside the generated html files, if necessary. Also, aside from editing the toc.html file, is there a way to change or remove the informational paragraph "Click on an icon to expand or collapse a node. Click on an item's text to view its details in the right pane"? |

In toc.html, change
<body> to <body bgcolor="color"> http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_body.asp Removing the paragraph from toc.html would work. To affect all future exports, make the same changes to C:\Program Files (x86)\UltraRecall\Export\HTML\convert.xslt You will need to run elevated (as administrator) in order to edit or copy this file to another path to edit and back after editing. https://tinyurl.com/z7bb2gm |

"To affect all future exports, make the same changes to
C:\Program Files (x86)\UltraRecall\Export\HTML\convert.xslt" Perfect. This is what I need, didn't realize it was driven by a stylesheet. I'm glad I asked, otherwise would have to keep editing the toc directly. Thanks, Kinook. Let us know of any future plans, other than winning the lottery. Quote:
