Modify URL item attribute

Using UR Pro and Windows 10 with working on the Program Template. In the item under installer is what I assume would be the website from the above URL. Can I change this so that I can type in details on the software rather than loading a URL? I have tried to alter the item attributes but not having luck changing this to just text.

The attribute is just a string and you can type anything into it. Is the database possibly read-only?

I don't believe so, I see nothing marking the template as read only. It is the Program Template that comes with the UR. I am able to input information like title, version, etc but nothing below the main header. Picture attached of where I would like to be able to enter info.

If you're referring to the detail area below the form, for the Program template, that will show the web page content for the URL attribute, which is not normally editable. You can enable web page editing, but only if the document is stored in UR (see https://kinook.com/UltraRecall/Manual/editwebpage.htm).

Another possibility is that you want to base your template on the Text template, which displays a rich text editor, rather than browser content, in the detail area.

Is it possible to edit the template? Change the URL attribute to rich text?

No, you would need to create your own template, derived from the Text template, but you can assign the same Form to it as the Program template.
