I was unable to reproduce this behavior. Using
1) Windows 11 22H2 (OS Build 22621.2428) 2) Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2310 Build 16.0.16924.20054) 64-bit 3) Ultra Recall 6.3.0.6 (x64) I created 4 .xlsx files and right-dragged -> Link Here from Explorer into UR, and all 4 of them were imported. |

I am consistently able to reproduce this behavior but first, some background. I have used UR forever but whenever I add files to my databases, it is almost always as attachments (to Data Explorer). I need these to be transportable with the database. The few times I link, it is one file at a time. My method (successful) was left click, drag and drop. I recently needed to link more than one. Using the method I used to link files individually introduced this anomaly.
The alt + left click and right click/link both work for me. Shouldn't the method I was using work as well? If not, I am happy to alter my habit. Thank you both for providing working procedures. Jon |

I couldn't reproduce the problem with left click, drag/drop either.

Thank you for testing and for your patience.
I am both stumped and relieved. I had a thought over the weekend. The files I was linking to were all on my office server. I wondered if some anomaly with the server's configuration could have contributed. After getting to my office this morning, I started my laptop and first tried local files. They worked perfectly. Then I tried with files on the server. Again, perfect. Maybe it had to do with the fresh start or something else I cannot figure out. In any case, I will be cautious (at least in the short run) and keep checking. If this happens again, I'll report back. Jon |
