File limits

Are there any practical limits to (1) the number of items contained within a file and (2) the size of the file?

What determines these limits?

Thank you.

Jon

Database filesize limits: http://www.kinook.com/Forum/showthre...s=&postid=1984

Limit to number of Items: This is driven by internal tables that use an Int64 ID field, but the limit would be in the millions or higher (effectively no technical limit)

Since Ultra Recall uses an indexed database file to store all data, performance remains consistent even with very large .urd files.
