VBScript deprecated from Windows

According to this page, VBScript is being deprecated and eventually removed from Windows:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...cated-features

and a little more information here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...urces#vbscript

Will this have any impact on Visual Build Pro scripts where VB was used?

VBScript integration in Visual Build does require VBScript in Windows. So far, they only say, "VBScript will be available as a feature on demand" and don't indicate when it will actually be removed. So you might need to install the feature on a future version of Windows. Eventually, you may need to use an older version of Windows if it does get removed. But this could also end up like Internet Explorer / MSHTML, where Internet Explorer has been removed, but the programming component for embedding IE functionality in a program via MSHTML still exists. We'll have to wait and see, but I have a feeling it will be a long time until it's completely gone.
