Problem with default rich editor font.

I set the default rich editor font to Tohama(Option/Editor), and new text item, the font shows Tohama, but when I type some english text, the font turn into "Arial", in fact, everytime I type englist text, the text font is "Arial" no matter how I change the font.

I use xp, and I have tried every version of the riched20.dll (2003,2007,2010), same result.

Testing on Win XP SP3 w/ UR 4.2a, I wasn't able to reproduce this problem using either the system riched20.dll or v5.50.99.2050 in the UR installation folder.

I have not had the need to change this setting and consequently have no experience with this. Never-the-less, I tried it and experienced results similar to slangmgh's report. I am not sure what is at work here. Templates have their own fonts, so this seems to override the default settings. So now I am confused - if templates work this way, what is the point of a default font? What am I not understanding?

Jon

The default font setting only applies for templates that have no text.
