Office 2010 Docs

Is it true that most Office 2010 documents (.mpp, .docx, xlsx, .vsd,...) can longer be viewed inside the Item Detail pane?

Thanks for your quick help.
Still I have trouble with Project 2010 and Visio 2010 files.
The office.reg has already been applied.
Project 2010 files must be opened exterally.
Visio 2001 files are opened externally regardless of settings.

I don't believe MS Project or Visio have ever supported embedding.

You mean neither Project nor Visio is viewable inside UR (Details pane).
It's ok. Neither is practical to do so.
Thanks for your confirmation.
