thunderbird plugin

I am having trouble installing the thunderbird plugin when i come to install it i get the not recognised message

can anyone point me in the right direction please?

1) The info from Help | About | Install Info (in UR)
2) Version of Thunderbird being used
3) Details on how you're installing the plugin (UR installer, extensions web page, ?)
4) A screen shot of the error message.
