creating a default backup file

I have set my UR to save every 3 minutes and it seems to do so perfectly well. I would also like for UR to save a backup file e.g. *.bak so that if the original *.urd file got corrupted there would be a backup file to revert to. Is this being planned, or is it already a feature. I could not find it anywhere.

Ultra Recall doesn't prevent the .urd file from being copied, even while in open, so you can use a scheduled task or similar to back up your .urd files with whatever frequency you desire.

Having Ultra Recall make a routine backup copy of the .urd file while in use would be quite inefficient and would likely have negative performance consequences (for the application itself). We are aware of customers with .urd files well over 1GB, backing up files of this size from Ultra Recall (while in use) is not very practical.

The better solution is what is stated above, have something external to Ultra Recall make scheduled backups of your .urd files.
