To drag/drop between databases, you must set 'Tools | Options | General | Windows taskbar entries' to 'Always one for each open database' so that each database displays in a separate top-level window.

Plea for Simplified Explanations
Hartmut's simple question and Kinook's quick and concise answer illustrates once again a problem many of us have been trying to persuade Kinook to pay some attention to. The program (as "explained" in the help files) is simply too complicated for the average user. After Kinook explained step-by-step how to do move items across databases, well, it's easy as pie. But there is no way Harmut could have found out how to do this unless Kinook bothered to post the explanation or Harmut had stumbled upon a solution serendipitously.
And every time someone raises this issue, the power-users will chime in and tell us to quit whining, put our noses to the grindstone, and learn the intricacies of the program. But so far we have not heard a peep from Kinook about this issue, and it is indeed one that will unquestionably affect sales (I have read somewhere that UR requires a steep learning curve). And none of us want that to happen, because UR is a wonderful program that deserves widespread appeal. So Kinook, could you please tell us if there is any chance you are going to overhaul the help files soon or at least provide us with some decent, more up-to-date online camtasia videos? |

It's on the list, but I don't know when it will be completed.

Well, that's a start...
Overjoyed to hear it's finally "on the list." Now if we keep pestering Kinook, maybe they will be specific about when it will be completed. Never underestimate the efficacy of the squeaky wheel effect.
