Saved export settings
OK, what am I not getting or doing wrong?
I want to export my custom contact list to a csv file. I carefully choose the fields and conduct the export. Because of the complexity of the field selections, I think I might want to do this again. I return to the export wizard and this time save the settings that were already there from the last time (I suppose they are now considered the default). When I return and select my saved settings, they are all wrong. The default settings are correct. 1. How can I save my settings as a named set? 2. Can I delete setting that are no longer needed? Thanks. Jon |

I think I found where the export setting is kept - in the registry. Although the name of the export setting exists under sets, there are no specific settings that are saved. This is unlike my saved import sets - I can see those settings in the registry.

I feel like I'm talking to myself.
I think I figured this out, but it seems awkward. 1. You cannot delete or re-name saved sets from within UR. You have to edit the registry. 2. Saved sets cannot be modified. For some reason you have to completely re-do a set. This is a time waster. 3. You cannot use a default set and save it as a new set. Jon |

Question: To what does "Skip missing values" refer? I have that ticked, yet blank records are imported.

Can you make saved set deletions available from within UR? Jon |

I see this was fixed in yesterday's update (3.5.4.3):
"New import/export sets not created properly if no changes made to settings." Thank you! Jon |
