incorrect "created date" on email save

When I save an email from Thunderbird 2.0.0.19 to UR, the email is being saved with an incorrect "created date".
Do I have something set wrong, a corrupt install, is it a known problem when using Thunderbird, or what???

Thanks, Anne

The item's Date Created attribute would normally be the date+time that the message was imported into UR.

what I find more frustrating is when I drag/drop from one database to another, UR doesn't keep the created date attribute. This is sooooooooooo frustrating as Date created is quite valuable for me, and it's trivial to set the Date Created to Today for all the imported items in one go if I wish, but almost impossible to do it other way

Kinook, please think about revising this behaviuor when importing items to UR database where Date created attribute is already populated. Or at least give the user an option or something. Many thanks

FWIW, running UR v.3.5.4.3

This screen shows the original message creation date/time in Outlook, then the various dates that UR "sees" after import.

Outlook is a different animal than Thunderbird. Outlook objects have properties like creation date, which are mapped to equivalent UR attributes. A Thunderbird message is imported from a temporary .eml file, so the date created is not useful (but the date received is mapped to UR's Message Date attribute).
