PSEXEC: Working with folders on a remote computer

Hi All,

I want to run a program on a remote computer for which I have an account. I entered the user name and password, but I get access denided. Evidently, PSEXEC.EXE tries to log me as a domain login and not as a local login specific to that computer. When logging in at the machine, I can specify a domain or "Local Computer" as the authentication mechanism. How do I do the same using the Remote Tab, which only allows for entry of the computer, user name, and password.

Thanks in advance,

martin

According to http://www.sysinternals.com/Forum/fo...s.asp?TID=2436 (9th post), PsExec will use the local user if a domain (domain\user) is not specified. If that is not the case, you might try posting the question/issue on their forum.
