Custom Validation and UI component states

Is it possible to define custom validations on the UI portion of the User Actions? (i.e. perhaps provide custom tabs from a COM object I've written in C++/C# or VB???)

I ask because I am currently evaluating this product for my employers potential use. And I noticed with the VC 6 action there are fields being enabled and disabled according to which check boxes are checked.

At minimum this would be a "nice" feature. Most probably our build team will make it a "required" feature in user defined actions, once they see it happening in the native actions.
