Custom "front end"?

Hi folks, we have a build sequence that needs extensive user input before starting the build and deploy activities. We use input boxes to get the information but it's tedious. Now we have a requirement to meet that makes a more "granular" approach to our build and deploy necessary. The changes I need to make will make the user input process even more onerous.
It would seem that the best solution would be to come up with an input screen that gathers all the necessary information in a more user friendly fashion - such as check boxes, combos, password boxes, etc etc. Is there a way to create such an animal within VBP? Or - create a simple C# or VB app that gather the information and pass it on?
Thanks!
Jon
