Version 2.0 Install Over 1.4 Loses all data?

Can it be this is by design? Is all my data lost with no prompt or warning during install that this would happen?

Hoping I am wrong but I can't see any of my data that previously lived in 1.4 after installation of 2.0

My upgrade worked flawlessly.

Have you searched your hard drive (or your network drive if that is where it was) for the database file?

A search from the root for *.urd ought to do it.
