Sync All Stored Files?

Is there a way to tell UR to syncronize all stored files for a branch recursively?

I Store important files of many types that are not in the same physical location. It would help if I could sync them all with out having to go to each one and do it manualy.

The files come from many disparate locations. For example, I may be tracking issue X and have assigned it its own branch. Child items may be imports of documents from my local drive and / or docs and files from several differant locations on our network.

I want to sync all files in a branch, recursively, with one command.

The closest I've come is to search on the date syncronized field and the parent title, highlight all results and click syncronize. As more of my life pours into this fabulous bit of software, I will need a more streamlined way of doing this.

Two aspects of the search process are manual.
1. Entring today's date in the "Date Synchronized | Less Than" line.

2. Adding the "Parent Title | Contains Keywords" info.

Can I automate any of this of is there a better way?

Configure an Advanced Search with the criteria as you describe, check the "Store dates relative to current date", then save the search so it is predefined for later use. Then you can simply update the Parent Title criteria of the search as necessary, execute the search and resync the results...

Because the target items may be several layers down-tree from the parent I search on, I thought this wouldn't work.

However, your suggestion made me look closer at the available options. I checked the "Store dates relative to current date" and also the "Limit search to bould item in data explorer pane". Then I deleted the parent title search line.

So, to search for all files that need to be synced in a branch, I click the branch in the data explorer then click my saved search.

Thanks.

Did I mention that this app is the closest thing to a brain augmentation?
