In the roadmap, there is an item that reads: "Column totals/calculations"

Question: is there a reason to limit calculations to columnar data? I'm thinking that I might want to write something like this:

23*46+32-20/6= which differs of course from
23*46+(32-20)/6 =

I don't know the technical feasibility of having multiple ways to implement calculations, but having an "inline" ability would clearly be helpful in some contexts.

I figure this is the right moment to deflect this coming asteroid into a better orbit.
