Another way of showing tags (keywords)?
Hi -
As you may know, I'm a big fan of tags (URP calls them keywords). I thought of another way to show these tags in a way that would be very sweet indeed. A tag strip. I've included a mockup of this. One cool idea that becomes intuitively apparent is that I could drag some text from the item itself into the strip, thus turning it into a tag. And it would be nice to be able to drag a tag outside of the strip to delete it. I have no idea how easy or hard it would be to implement this; just thought I'd make the recommendation. - Bal |

According to the road map, plans for the next release include:

yep - I figured if there was a time to get my input on this feature, it would be now. Again - admitting I don't know the feasibility of what I've mocked up.

I just started getting into keywords/tags. A lot of power there that I didn't have time to delve into before. Wordmuse's tag strip mockup and proposed functionality looks really good.
This would help make keywords/tags more visible in general, easier to view keywords associated with an indivual item and easier to maintain. Much easier to see tags . Hopefully, Kinook has something like this in mind (with option to hide/unhide the strip of course). |

And just to make the functionality that I envision clearer - I'd like to be able to click or double-click an exposed tag and have that call a search, perhaps in a new tab, of all items with that tag.
