copy paste from hoisted branch bug?

I don't understand why I can't copy an explorer item from a hosted branch & paste it into another branch item details page as a hyperlink. Steps to reproduce from my machine.

Option | Favorite is hoisted

select favorite
select an item in hoisted branch from explorer
<ctrl>+c or copy w URL

select another favorite
select item in hoisted branch from explorer
focus on item detail page
<CTRL>+V or paste from context menu
Nothing happens.

Repeat from same items in un-hoisted state & everything works fine.

If this isn't a bug, it's inconvenient IMO because fastest way for user to find regularly used branches is via favorites & hoisted cleans up view of favorite

It's a limitation, having to do with the fact that the tree is reloaded when hoisting or unhoisting. Either don't hoist/unhoist between copying and pasting or use another method like Tree | Link/Copy.

A limitation in URp? Impossible... BTW, The FF & TB extensions + scrolling really add convenience & work perfectly. Thanks for those.

I'm having the same problem, ie. find it impossible to insert hyperlink directly into item details (while copying the item from another hoisted tab).

It would be very nice feature, if dragging from the Data explorer and pointing to another tab would activate this tab, so that user could drop it to the item details or data explorer of that tab.

Or, at the very least, preserve the clipboard, the fact the the tree is reloaded should have no effect on the clipboard content.

Thanks for consideration
