copying item command line from search result

when copying the item command line from a search result window - it is not copied correctly - and/or it is different to when it is copied from the item in the item explorer tree:

for example - the first string is copied from the search window, the second one from its location in the data explorer tree:

ur://E:/My%20Documents%20(E)/UltraRecall/Getting%20Things%20Done.urd?item=3144
ur://E:/My%20Documents%20(E)/UltraRecall/Getting%20Things%20Done.urd?item=3144,3186,3184,31 91,3181,1964,1000

in options/miscellaneous I have command line format as:
ur://%DB_URL%?item=%ITEM_PATH%

Am I doing something wrong/misunderstanding something?

In any case, if I copy item command lines for an item from the search results pane, and paste into another app, they do not work - whereas they do work if I copy from data explorer tree...

Kinook, or anyone got any advice on this?

Thanks, Ian

Not sure how this is going to help, but it may lend insight into what's going on.

Here are the Item Names and their corresponding UR address, these Items are running down the tree from parent to child, as you can see each subsequent child adds it's ID to the beginning of the string. Without the complete path (Lineage ?) to the Item UR can't find it.

The full lineage (item id of item and parents to root) is used in the command-line when copying from the tree. In the Related Items pane, there (usually) is no lineage, so only the item's id is included. But UR should be able to locate the item with just its item id (also used if the item was moved between when it was copied and when it is opened via its URL). That works in our tests; please send details to reproduce if that is not happening for you. Thanks.

Thanks for the clarification.
