dragging to tab

After I do a search in a new tab, I often want to drag the results onto an earlier tab. What I'm trying to do is essentially the link/move to a "bookmarked" or "hoisted" item, which is the tab. But when I hover over the tab, that tab does not get activated in any sense. This would be quite useful.

In v3 beta, the same goes for creating internal wiki links. After I find some items, I'd like to be able to drag them to a prior item that is another tab, but I can't. Am I missing something here?

Ditto! Actually, I was going to ask the same thing. When you are dragging something, and hover over the tab, it would be really useful if it gets activated!
