Changes to spell check?

Kinook,

One of the larger annoyances for me in Version 5 is the spell-check. Specifically, it retains the red underline after I repair a word, and it places the same size underline under whatever text appears in each line below the line with the mis-spelled word.
I just tried V6 to find it (so far) working correctly as a spell-check ordinarily would. Your version history doesn't mention repairing the spell-check, so I'm wondering why it works properly on the trial version, but not my current version.
If it is indeed repaired in this version, that alone may be enough to push me to upgrade.

I hadn't heard of that and wasn't able to reproduce that behavior in v5, and we didn't intentionally fix anything for it. But if it works in v6 for you, that is good thing. Fixing an unknown bug without trying is always a positive.

I guess I spoke too soon. It's still happening, and since you say you've never seen it before, here it is:

In the attached picture, you'll note the red line denoting a mis-spelled word where there is no word. 8 Lines above, the word practically was originally mis-spelled by me, then corrected. The Red line remained after the correction and "floated" down with each carriage return.

This problem has happened as long as I've used the program...it's not a recent event.

The live spell-checker almost never worked for me and it was a headache to use. I've had it disabled for years.
I invoke spell-check manually via F7 when I need to.
