Create hard link on NTFS

Is there possibility to create hard link to file instead of copying file in the VBP? If not, I would like to see it as checkbox in the Copy Files step in the future versions.

Creating hard links is possible on NTFS partitions.

Today I can to use the fsutil.exe utility to do it.

Thanks for excellent tool.

No built-in capability exists in Visual Build Professional to create hardlinks.

Your request is the first one we've received for this functionality. As you pointed out, creating hard links with fsutil is quite straightforward.

We will consider your request but due to the ease of accomplishing this task with Visual Build Professional now, and the fact that not all drives even support hard links, I don't know how quickly this will be added.
